Jikin are almost impossible to find in the US. They are characterized by their unique peacock tail which, when viewed from behind, looks sort of like a four-leaf clover. We imported adults from a jikin breeder in Japan during 2006. They have become stubborn about spawning of late. The fish listed below were raised from the same Japanese stock by a friend in Honolulu, Hawaii.
